Big Al sits at the computer next to Carol's work station. He is the only male page breaker on staff. Big Al wants to be friends with Carol.

When Irma and Wally try to set Carol up with Ken, they have a couple only party. Carol invites Big Al to be her date and tells everyone he is her boyfriend. Big Al had plans to do aerobics with his mother but he jumped at the chance to be Carol's date. When Carol and Big Al show up to the party and start lying Carol drags Big Al out of there.
