Dwight and his friend Brad meet Carol and Maggie when they go to a health club that is having a "Twentysomething meet 'n' greet weekend". Dwight is a great dancer, he dances with Maggie until Jason shows up to take over. He and Carol than dance together.

Dwight moves in 3 houses down from the Seavers, when he goes to visit them Mike catches him staring at roof, and Dwight says it's a hobby of his. He is working on his PHD in Medieval studies. Dwight moved to Long Island the day after he meet Carol - a month ago - to be with her. Carol makes and brings him muffins only to find a woman at his house.

Dwight and Carol get invited on a skiing vacation with Mike, Kate, Ben, Luke, and a bunch of Dewey High school rowdies.

Dwight is upset because Carol has gone away for a month doing research at the British museum.
