Carol's Crush[]
The Seavers hasn't seen family friend Jeff since he and his family moved to Ohio, 5 or 6 years earlier. Jeff has an interview for law school so he stays with them. After graduating school Jeff decided to do some travelling in South America, going to Carnival in Rio, rock-climbing in the Andes, and then he got dysentery in Bogota. While staying in the guest bedroom Carol develops a crush on him. When Jeff and Carol are out to dinner they run into one of Jeff's friends, and he introduces Carol as 'the little sister I never had'.
